Melrose Weddings
This beautiful, rustic venue is a perfect spot for your wedding, celebration, or special event. Melrose is recognized by both the Virginia Landmark Register and National Register of Historic Places, as a place of unique historic value. Melrose is located in the middle of a large farm and has that unbeatable combination of beauty and history, making it a memorable backdrop for your special event. We now have AC and heat for year-round enjoyment.
THE VENUE
Romantic Stone Lodge
The Lodge was erected in 1929 by Endless Caverns as a museum from limestone sourced on the property. The beautiful bluestone architecture will take you back to another time while still getting to enjoy all the amenities of modern life.
Ceremony Sites
Choose from five ceremony sites. The three outdoor sites include: In front of the Lodge, the second at the western corner of fenced in area and third the eastern corner of the fenced in area. Rain, shine or snow the inside of the Lodge is also available for weddings. Lastly, small to medium size ceremonies can take place in the Caverns.
Intimate Farm Land
The Melrose Caverns property has been owned by the same family for 10 generations. As caretakers of this piece of history we strive to maintain it as a secluded and intimate setting conveniently located 10 minutes from lodging.

Parking Attendants provide for the day of the wedding to ease traffic flow on the property.
